*At* ***HOVIMA Hotels*** *we are seeking a committed* ***Second Technical Service Manager*** *with leadership capability and a focus on operational excellence for one of our hotels located in* ***Costa Adeje****.\_***Job Mission***\_Provide direct support to the* ***Technical Service Manager (Maintenance)*** *in the comprehensive management of the department, assuming their duties during their absence and ensuring the proper functioning of facilities, compliance with current regulations, and continuity of technical services, in accordance with HOVIMA Hotels’ quality standards.****Main Functions and Responsibilities*** * *Coordinate the maintenance team, supervising work shifts, task allocation, leave, and vacation schedules. Actively participate in staff selection, onboarding, training, and follow-up processes for technical personnel.* * *Act as substitute for the Technical Service Manager during their absence, assuming operational management of the department and ensuring continuity of technical services and team coordination.* * *Supervise implementation of preventive and corrective maintenance plans, verifying that scheduled interventions are executed according to established quality, safety, and efficiency standards.* * *Monitor technical faults and incidents, ensuring accurate documentation, traceability, and resolution, coordinating with the technical team or external companies when necessary.* * *Actively participate in technical tasks, collaborating with the team on operational duties and promoting leadership by example and direct involvement.* * *Collaborate with department management to identify technical needs, propose improvements, plan resources, and optimize internal processes.* * *Supervise the operational status of hotel facilities, equipment, and technical systems, identifying potential risks or anomalies and proposing corrective actions.* * *Ensure compliance with safety, quality, environmental, and occupational risk prevention regulations, both for internal staff and collaborating companies.* * *Operationally cover maintenance technicians’ duties when required, reinforcing service coverage during absences, incidents, or peak activity periods.* ***Requirements*** * *Medium or Higher Vocational Training qualification in Electricity, Electromechanics, Air Conditioning, Installation Maintenance, or equivalent technical qualification.* * *Minimum* ***2 years of experience*** *in a similar role within maintenance departments of hotels, tourist complexes, or intensively used buildings.* * *Prior experience in operational team coordination and technical incident management.* * *Knowledge of hotel installations, electricity, plumbing, air conditioning, energy management, and security systems.* * *Proficiency in preventive and corrective maintenance planning.* * *Intermediate-level proficiency with computer tools (especially Microsoft Office).* * *Competencies in team leadership, operational organization, and incident resolution.* * *Ability to interpret technical documentation and monitor suppliers and external services.* ***What do we offer?*** * *Permanent contract.* * *Join a well-established company clearly oriented toward professional development.* * *Dynamic and collaborative work environment.* * *Continuous training and opportunities for internal advancement.* * *Active participation in improvement, sustainability, and energy efficiency projects.* * *Job stability and career development within a highly specialized technical team.* ***Are you ready to take on this challenge?****Apply now and become part of the* ***HOVIMA Hotels**** team!\_***Position Type:**Full-time, Permanent contract.\_ Salary: €24,000.00\-€27,000.00 per year Work Location: On-site employment
