Coordination of research and development activities **Positions Available** ---------------------- 1 **Company** ----------- Tragsatec **Project / Reason for Hiring** --------------------------------- Tecnologías y Servicios Agrarios, S.A., S.M.E., M.P., a subsidiary of the TRAGSA GROUP, specialized in engineering, consultancy, and technical assistance services in agriculture, livestock, forestry, and environmental matters, seeks to hire 1 Bachelor's or Master's Degree holder + Official Master's Degree to support the State Meteorological Agency (AEMET) in Santa Cruz de Tenerife. **Work Location** -------------------- * Santa Cruz de Tenerife Occasional travel will be required. **Functions and Responsibilities** ---------------------- * Updating and improving the European Brewer Network (EUBREWNET) and the Regional Brewer Calibration Centre - Europe (RBCC-E) of the World Meteorological Organization (WMO). * Supporting coordination and collaboration within research and development activities related to international systems and services of the Measurement Lead Centres (MLC) of the World Meteorological Organization (WMO). **Specific Requirements** -------------------------- Compliance with the requirements and/or merits must be substantiated by undergoing assessment tests and/or attaching the necessary documentation in the “Annexes” section of the registration questionnaire. The Tragsa Group reserves the right to request, at any stage of the process, documents verifying the information provided in the application, as well as requesting additional information from the CV whenever necessary to verify the stated requirements and/or merits for the advertised position. ### **Education** #### **Qualifications** * Hold a degree in Computer Engineering or a Bachelor's + Official Master's Degree in Computer Engineering, or a Bachelor's or Master's Degree + Official Master's Degree in Physics, or a Bachelor's Degree in Physical Sciences, or a Bachelor's or Master's Degree + Official Master's Degree in Computer Science (MECES Level 3) (degree recognized in Spain or equivalence certificate issued by the General Secretariat of Universities) ### **Other Mandatory Requirements** * Academic or professional experience in ozone and/or atmospheric radiation measurements, operation of atmospheric observation instrument networks (handling scientific instrumentation and/or laboratory work and data analysis), and systems such as the Regional Brewer Calibration Centre for Europe (RBCC-E) and the European Brewer Network (EUBREWNET) (to be verified during technical assessment) * Academic or professional experience in programming, scientific computing, remote sensing data analysis, and ground-based data validation (to be verified during technical assessment) * Professional experience in database management and/or web programming (to be verified during technical assessment) * Professional experience of up to 5 years or more in their field of study, with a scientific-technical profile **Merit Criteria (Assessable)** ------------------------ ### **Education** #### **Additional Training** * Additional training in fluid or gas dynamics, solar radiation measurement, optics, atmospheric measurements, etc. ### **Other Meritorious Factors** * Publication of scientific articles in research journals (to be verified during technical assessment) * Professional experience in Linux system administration (to be verified during technical assessment) **Observations** ----------------- * Offered: + Fixed-term contract with an estimated duration of 7 months. + Full-time employment.
