**Positions Available** ---------------------- 1 **Company** ----------- Tragsatec **Project / Hiring Reason** --------------------------------- Tecnologías y Servicios Agrarios, S.A., S.M.E., M.P., a subsidiary of the TRAGSA GROUP, specialized in engineering, consulting and technical assistance services in agricultural, livestock, forestry and environmental matters, is seeking to hire 1 Boat Captain in Santa Cruz de Tenerife. **Work Location** -------------------- * Santa Cruz de Tenerife Address: Puerto Colón in Adeje **Functions and Responsibilities** ---------------------- * Ship dispatch and management of other documents required for the proper operation of the vessel * Perform maneuvers and captain the vessel * Manage maintenance and safety on board the vessel **Specific Requirements** -------------------------- Candidates must provide proof by attaching the following documents in the "Attachments" section of the application (or during the selection process), as applicable: * Official academic qualification certificate or proof of payment of fees for issuance of the academic degree. * Employment record and/or employment contract verifying the required professional experience. * Internship certificates verifying the required academic experience, if applicable. ### **Education** #### **Qualification** * Hold a Higher Technician qualification in Navigation - Fishing and Maritime Transport or Higher Technician in Maritime Transport and Deep-Sea Fishing (qualification officially recognized in Spain or equivalence certificate issued by the General Secretariat of Universities) ### **Other Essential Requirements** * Valid medical certificate from the Instituto de Salud de la Marina (ISM) * Mandatory certifications for vessel dispatch (navigation logbook, basic training, firefighting, safety, sanitation, and non-fast rescue boat) **Merits (Evaluated)** ------------------------ ### **Education** #### **Additional Training** * Accredited ROV training * Accredited training in mechanics or electricity ### **Previous Experience** * From 1 year to 4 years serving as captain of vessels of at least 10 meters in length **Observations** ----------------- * Offer includes: + Fixed-term contract with an estimated duration of 1 month. + Vessel without living accommodations. + Full-time position. Shift work from Monday to Sunday, consisting of 4 working days followed by 4 rest days.
