Head Chef
We are seeking a passionate **Head Chef** with a strong commitment to **author cuisine**, sensitivity to ingredients, creativity, and attention to detail, to lead the à la carte restaurant at the **Hotel Alahuar**, an establishment with its own distinct identity and a carefully crafted, distinctive gastronomic offering.
The selected candidate will be responsible for the **overall management of the kitchen**, combining culinary excellence, organization, and control, while working closely with the hotel’s management team.

**Main Responsibilities**
* Plan, organize, and supervise the overall operation of the kitchen.
* Lead, coordinate, and motivate the team, ensuring a positive work environment and adherence to the hotel’s quality and service standards.
* Design and develop the menu, as well as special menus, technical sheets, and recipe costings, ensuring balance, creativity, and cost control.
* Supervise food preparation, presentation, and plating, paying close attention to aesthetics and consistency with the gastronomic concept.
* Forecast, order, and control raw materials, ensuring proper storage, stock rotation, and optimal utilization.
* Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and HACCP regulations at all stages of the process.
* Collaborate with Management and other departments to continuously improve service and enhance the guest’s gastronomic experience.
**What We Are Looking For**
* Prior experience as Head Chef or Deputy Head Chef, with at least 2–4 years in hotels or à la carte restaurants featuring a clearly defined gastronomic concept.
* Solid expertise in team management, recipe costings, productive organization, and cost control.
* Culinary training (Vocational Training Program and/or Professional Qualification Certificate), desirable.
* Valid Food Handler Certificate.
* Organized, solution-oriented, and adaptable to unforeseen circumstances.
* Proactive, dynamic attitude with a strong orientation toward teamwork.
* Sensitivity to ingredients, quality, and creative cuisine.
* Disability certificate of 33% or higher is valued.
