Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Hyper-V systems administrator to manage and optimize virtual ecosystems, ensuring their stability, performance, and security. Key Responsibilities: 1. You will manage entire virtual universes with Hyper-V. 2. You will keep the virtual ecosystem alive, orderly, and high-performing. 3. In this project, you won’t just administer systems—you’ll control entire virtual universes. We’re looking for the kind of professional who isn’t fazed by a crashed VM, who enjoys fine-tuning resources as if they were precision instruments, and who understands that a well-architected cluster is nearly technological poetry. You will be the person keeping the entire Hyper\-V-based virtual ecosystem alive, orderly, and high-performing—responsible for: * Installing and configuring Hyper\-V hosts in Windows environments * Creating, cloning, and maintaining virtual machines (RAM, CPU, disks… full control) * Managing virtual networks, VLANs, and inter-world connectivity that must never fail * Administering storage (VHD/VHDX, SAN/NAS), optimizing performance down to the millimeter * Security, patching, access control, and environment isolation * Backups, restorations, and Hyper\-V Replica (yes, “what if… everything fails?” scenarios get resolved quickly) * Monitoring, troubleshooting, and log analysis as if decoding clues in a complex case * High availability, clustering, and Live Migration (VMs don’t sleep—but you’ll move them seamlessly, unnoticed by anyone) Automation with PowerShell so repetitive work… disappears * What does your typical day look like? There’s no boredom or monotony here. You’ll work rotating shifts within a team of three people, covering the client’s broad service window (8:00 to 20:00\), but in an organized and balanced way.
