Currently, we are seeking an Aerospace Systems Engineer whose primary responsibility will be managing requirements and defining the functional and physical architecture of flight mechanisms, ensuring technical coherence of the design throughout the project lifecycle. The role involves developing associated technical documentation, participating in design reviews and interdisciplinary interfaces, and guaranteeing traceability from customer and regulatory requirements through to final implementation. **Main Responsibilities:** * Analyze customer technical requirements and derive internal system and subsystem requirements. * Develop and maintain the functional and physical architecture of the flight mechanism. * Manage requirement traceability and ensure consistency throughout the development lifecycle. * Participate in design reviews (PDR, CDR, TRR, etc.) and prepare supporting technical documentation. * Coordinate interfaces across engineering disciplines (mechanical, thermal, control, manufacturing). * Collaborate with the Verification & Validation (V\&V) Engineer to ensure alignment between requirements and qualification activities. * Ensure proper document configuration of requirements, specifications, and designs. Occasionally support technical communication with the client on topics related to system requirements or architecture * **Knowledge, Experience, and Candidate Profile:** Required Educational Background: * University degree in Engineering (Aeronautical, Mechanical, Electronic, or similar). * Specific training or a Master’s degree in Systems Engineering or Model\-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) will be valued. * **Technical Skills:** + Minimum required experience: 2 to 5 years in systems engineering projects within technically demanding sectors (aerospace, defense, space, or similar), with proven experience in requirements management and system architecture. + Knowledge in requirements and system architecture management. + Familiarity with requirements management tools (IBM DOORS, Polarion, Jama, or similar). + Knowledge of MBSE/SysML methodologies will be an advantage. + Ability to write and manage technical documentation in English. + Advanced level of technical English (minimum B2, C1 desirable). + Advanced proficiency with office software tools (MS Office, Visio). **Transversal Skills:** * Analytical ability and systemic thinking. * Technical rigor and quality orientation. * Ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary teams. * Strong oral and written communication skills in both Spanish and English. * Proactivity and results orientation. **Additional Information:** This position offers the opportunity to participate in the development of flight mechanisms and ground support equipment from the requirements definition and architecture phase, within a highly technical and regulated environment.
