We are seeking to hire a Nurse for our Ballesol Valterna residential center who will ensure comprehensive, personalized, and high-quality healthcare, contributing to the well-being and health of our residents within a humane and trustworthy environment. **What will your mission be?** As a nurse, you will be responsible for delivering personalized and continuous healthcare to residents, ensuring proper administration of treatments and clinical follow-up for each individual. Your role is pivotal within the multidisciplinary team, coordinating care services and promoting health education among professionals, residents, and their families. **Responsibilities and duties of the position** * Monitor and record residents’ vital signs and weight, conducting clinical follow-up jointly with auxiliary staff. * Administer medications prescribed by the medical team, coordinating preparation and distribution with healthcare or pharmacy auxiliary staff, and supervising correct administration together with SPV and gerocare staff. * Apply topical treatments, perform wound dressings and nursing-specific procedures such as venous access, insertion and replacement of catheters or ostomy bags, blood glucose monitoring, and administration of medications via subcutaneous, intravenous, or intramuscular routes. * Identify and respond promptly to potential medical emergencies, applying established protocols and efficiently and safely mobilizing necessary resources. * Provide health and care education to both family members and center staff, encouraging good practices and healthy habits. * Participate in interdisciplinary meetings, contributing relevant information regarding residents’ clinical status. **What do we offer?** * Initial 6-month temporary contract with possibility of extension up to 1 year. * Night shift schedule from 10:00 PM to 7:20 AM. * Salary according to collective bargaining agreement. * Immediate incorporation. * Purpose-driven work environment where your role has a direct impact on people’s quality of life. * Continuous training and professional development, plus additional benefits and advantages as part of Grupo Santalucía. * Collaboration with committed and approachable multidisciplinary teams. *At Ballesol, we promote an inclusive, respectful workplace free from any form of discrimination.
