As a Database Administrator, your daily responsibilities will focus on ensuring our critical databases remain continuously available, secure, and operating at optimal performance. You’ll monitor their status, implement improvements and optimizations, manage backups and recovery plans, and guarantee data integrity within a highly regulated environment. You’ll collaborate closely with development and systems teams to deploy changes, resolve incidents, and ensure our technological solutions for the pharmaceutical sector operate stably, efficiently, and in alignment with Glintt Life’s quality standards. How do we envision you? * Administer and optimize Oracle databases in mission-critical environments. * Design and implement backup, recovery, and high-availability policies. * Monitor performance and proactively implement improvement measures. * Resolve incidents, investigate blocking issues, and perform performance tuning. * Manage security: access control, roles, and password policies. * Conduct preventive maintenance and apply updates/patches. * Collaborate with the development team on SQL query optimization and schema definition. * Document technical processes and participate in disaster recovery drills. * Participate in deployments and version control (experience with Vault is a plus). What we’re looking for * Degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or equivalent. * Solid experience as a DBA in Oracle Database environments. * Proficiency in PL/SQL and tools such as SQL Loader. * Knowledge of diagnosing and repairing corrupted databases. * Strong technical expertise in high-availability and security environments. * Proactivity and orientation toward continuous improvement. * Analytical ability and capacity to solve complex problems. * Effective communication and teamwork within technical environments. * Adaptability to critical technologies and legacy systems.
