At Iberdrola, we are looking to hire a specialist in electrical line route definition and management of preliminary and topographic studies. This role will be key to ensuring projects are developed with optimal, technically viable designs aligned with current regulations and coordinated with public administrations, regulatory bodies, and internal teams. YOUR MISSION WILL BE: To ensure the correct definition, planning, and supervision of electrical line routes, integrating technical, urban, environmental, and construction criteria. You will be responsible for coordinating preliminary studies and topographic surveys, managing topographic contractors, validating documentation, and guaranteeing that routes comply with legal, technical, and quality requirements. Additionally, you will closely collaborate with internal teams and external bodies to facilitate project progress and ensure timely and proper execution. You will work with software tools dedicated to defining electrical corridors, collect key information, and visit corridor locations to gather further data and assess potential route alignments, among other mission-related activities. FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES: * Define electrical line routes, ensuring optimized, constructible designs compliant with regulations and urban planning, while integrating possible environmental constraints. * Reach consensus on preliminary routes with relevant public administrations and bodies when required. * Plan and organize preliminary studies and topographic surveys. * Contract and supervise topographic services, ensuring adherence to deadlines, quality standards, and procedures. * Verify documentation delivered by topographic contractors. * Manage topographic contracting, preparing technical procurement documentation (ET, CPC, ITEO). * Analyze and technically evaluate topographic contractor proposals. * Monitor costs associated with topographic services for projects. * Prepare documentation for public administrations and official bodies. * Support project directors, engineering, and construction teams during project development. * Collaborate in internal and external audits related to quality, environment, safety, and health. * Ensure registration, archiving, and distribution of generated documentation. * Actively participate in continuous improvement and knowledge sharing within the topographic area. REQUIREMENTS: * Bachelor’s degree in Geomatics and Topography Engineering or equivalent. * Advanced proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel and Word). * Advanced proficiency in BIM tools for the LEMAT process. * Familiarity with GIS tools (Pathfinder, QGIS). * Knowledge of the High-Voltage Electrical Lines Regulation and its technical instructions. * Basic understanding of the electricity sector, electrical line design, and construction. * Knowledge of occupational health and safety, environmental, and quality standards. * Experience managing contractors and topographic studies for electrical lines. * Teamwork skills, proactivity, communication, conflict resolution, and organizational abilities. * Willingness to travel to project sites. * English: intermediate-to-advanced level.
