Job Summary: We are seeking kitchen support staff for food preparation, assistance to the head chef, and communication with the front-of-house team, with preference given to candidates experienced in traditional Asturian cuisine. Key Points: 1. Assistance in food preparation and support to the head chef. 2. Fluent communication with the front-of-house team. 3. Knowledge of traditional cuisine, especially Asturian cuisine. We are looking for a person to work as kitchen support in an establishment located in Siero, Asturias. Daily tasks include preparing ingredients required for menus, as well as assisting the head chef during dish preparation. Additionally, maintaining fluent and consistent communication with the front-of-house team is essential to ensure high-quality customer service. The ideal candidate possesses knowledge of traditional cuisine, with particular emphasis on Asturian gastronomy, and has experience in management tasks such as stock control, placing orders, and inventory management. Prior experience in the hospitality sector and basic culinary training will be valued. This position offers a six-month temporary contract with possible extension, full-time hours, and shift work.
