Management Control Manager

POSITION AND DEPARTMENT * Finance and Administration Department * Department Manager * No team under supervision. FUNCTIONS, TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES Develop and lead management control processes to facilitate monitoring and control of company activities and decision-making in order to achieve established strategic objectives. * Financial Performance Analysis: Budget preparation. Collect, analyze and consolidate budgets from different departments within the organization. Perform detailed analysis of business performance against annual budget, forecasts, and actual financial results. Identify variances, patterns, and opportunities from financial data, providing recommendations to optimize business performance. Ensure cost control and performance monitoring of projects and operational units. Develop robust forecasting models to provide timely and accurate financial projections. Participate in asset integrations to align various business criteria with company standards. * Preparation of Financial Reports and Presentations: Develop clear and detailed financial reports (forecasts, projections, closing reports, simulations, developments, comparisons, ...), using advanced Excel for data organization and analysis. Create high-level PowerPoint presentations summarizing financial results, including specific, targeted action proposals to support decision-making. * Financial Storytelling: Transform financial analysis into a clear and simple narrative, presenting findings in an understandable way for management and different departments across the company. Communicate results and recommendations effectively, facilitating understanding and enabling data-driven strategic decision-making. * Financial Planning and Forecasting: Support long-term financial planning by collaborating in the creation of financial models projecting future business performance. Contribute to the development and adjustment of budgets, ensuring forecasts reflect changes in market and business conditions. * Collaboration in the Use of ERP and Financial Tools: Use the ERP system to extract and manage relevant financial data for analysis. Optimize the use of these tools to ensure financial data is accurate, up-to-date, and easily accessible. * Adaptability and Deadline Compliance: Work flexibly and proactively in a constantly changing environment, quickly adjusting forecasts and analyses according to new business realities. Ensure strict deadlines are met for delivery of financial reports and analyses. * Definition of policies, processes, and procedures for the department. * Risk management within the scope of the department. * Motivate staff, foster collaboration, teamwork, and promote a positive work environment related to activities within their area of responsibility. * Record and keep documentation related to and generated by the role up to date. WHAT DO WE OFFER? * Positive work environment * Contract type: Permanent, with a 6-month probation period. * Working hours: Full-time, 40 hours/week * Schedule: Monday to Thursday, flexible start time between 7:30 and 9:00, 8.5 effective working hours. Friday, flexible start time between 7:30 and 9:00, 6 effective working hours. Intensive working schedule in August. * Exclusive dedication. * Collective agreement: Metal Industry, Services and Installations Sector of Soria. * Category/Group/Level: As per collective agreement, Group 1 * Vacation days: 22 days per year as per agreement. * Life and accident insurance: As per applicable collective agreement and company's current terms. * Access to flexible compensation plan: You may contract the products offered, within the limits and criteria established in the current flexible compensation plan. * Start date: Immediate. * Work location: C/ Medinaceli, 2B, 1º \- Soria. PROFILE REQUIREMENTS * Education: Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Business Administration, or related field, or similar qualifications relevant to the responsibilities of the position.
