Maintenance Technician – 4th Shift

Company
Description
This position focuses on comprehensive maintenance of production facilities within an industrial food manufacturing environment. Key responsibilities include carrying out scheduled preventive maintenance tasks across a wide range of equipment, covering electronic, mechanical, and pneumatic systems. This proactive approach is critical to ensuring operational continuity, minimizing unplanned downtime, and extending the service life of production assets. In addition, the technician will be responsible for efficiently diagnosing and resolving technical faults and incidents as they occur. This involves technical analysis to identify the root cause of the problem and implementing effective, long-lasting solutions—always prioritizing safety and quality. The role demands strong responsiveness and adaptability, requiring both autonomous work and teamwork to maintain the high functional standards required in an active production line. Accurate documentation of interventions performed and clear communication with other departments are also integral parts of daily responsibilities in this position. Working hours follow a rotating shift pattern (morning, afternoon, and night) according to a fixed schedule, including weekends and on-call duties. The company offers an indefinite-term contract and an annual work calendar comprising approximately 1\.750 working hours, which includes periods of lower activity with intensive working hours and the distribution of public holidays. Candidates must hold a Medium-Level Vocational Training qualification in fields such as Electricity and Electronics, Electrotechnical Installations and Mechanics, Industrial Automation and Robotics, or related disciplines. Approximately one year of experience in industrial maintenance activities is essential; relevant training internships in production environments may also be considered.
