* 23/05/2022 SEM, a leader in surface treatments, is seeking personnel to join several Quality teams. The job involves performing visual inspections and using measuring tools to verify that coating applications comply with project specifications, and taking appropriate corrective actions. It is essential to be able to read and interpret technical drawings, and to be methodical, organized, and disciplined, as well as capable of working under pressure. This position is in production quality and requires constant movement—inspecting parts across all areas of the team—so agility and the ability to perform inspections while moving throughout the entire work shift are required. Additionally, candidates must be analytical and observant, and capable of working under pressure due to the high quality demands of ongoing projects. Proficiency in computer programs such as Excel and Word is mandatory. Prior experience in quality or drafting departments is highly valued, as is training and experience in using mobile platforms. Training in Occupational Health and Safety (PRL) for the metal sector is also desirable.
