




DESCRIPTION SAMOA INDUSTRIAL, S.A. is the parent company of a multinational industrial group, whose headquarters are located in Gijón, with a business volume of 100MM€, production centers in Spain, England, France, Germany, Sweden, Italy and the USA, and worldwide commercial presence in over 110 countries. It is considered a leader in the design and manufacturing of transfer equipment, pumps for fluid handling, as well as measurement and control systems for fluids in the automotive, process industry and manufacturing, agriculture, construction, chemical and mining sectors, ... Linter Technical Center, S.L. has been established as the Group's Business R&D Center and, from its facilities in Gijón, leads and manages the Research and Development of products marketed through to their industrialization, as well as providing technical support and training for Group personnel. Currently, it is developing an important expansion project and wishes to expand its professional team by incorporating **PRODUCT MANAGER** **MISSION** The Product Manager, reporting directly to the Technical Director, leads the complete cycle of definition, development and industrialization of the assigned product portfolio, aligning initial requirements, regulations and target cost with committed timelines. Coordinates multidisciplinary teams, subsidiaries and suppliers, makes data-driven decisions and ensures product competitiveness and margin. **RESPONSIBILITIES** * **Requirements and specifications:** Convert customer/market needs and inputs from Product Conceptualization into measurable technical specifications, acceptance criteria and target cost with traceability until launch. * **Development management:** Lead the complete design and development cycle, standards for drawings and tolerances, and good DFM/DFA practices; review and approve design reviews and consolidate deliverables in PDM/PLM with version control. * **Technical validation and laboratories/prototypes:** Define validation plan, coordinate prototypes/pre-series, test instrumentation and analysis of results. * **Industrialization and launch:** Ensure manufacturability and assembly feasibility in Group plants, prepare series release, support ramp-up, manage manufacturing issues and optimize time/costs in collaboration with Quality, Purchasing and Manufacturing. * **Cost and competitiveness:** Monitor material and manufacturing costs, convergence to target cost and agreed margin. * **Regulatory compliance and documentation:** Ensure that design and documentation (technical files, conformity declarations, manuals) comply with applicable technical and safety regulations for products and target markets. * **Change and product information management:** Manage change cycles, ensure traceability, drawing versioning and shared documentation for industrialization. * **Internal coordination and with subsidiaries/suppliers:** Consolidate regulatory requirements and country-specific customization, channel After-Sales and market feedback into the roadmap. * **Methodology and continuous improvement:** Design and standardize departmental processes and methodologies (templates, standards, checklists, etc.), develop team capabilities and promote parts/processes standardization. * **Indicators and reporting:** Define and monitor key KPIs (schedule/milestone compliance, cost deviations, startup rejections, field incidents post-launch), reporting to the Technical Management. **WE OFFER** * Participation in real R&D projects with impact on the Samoa Group's product catalog, collaboration with international teams and subsidiaries. * Professional development within the Group and a collaborative, dynamic environment focused on results. * Continuous technical training provided by the company. * Competitive compensation commensurate with experience and responsibility of the position. REQUIREMENTS **REQUIRED** * University degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial or related) * At least 5 years of experience in industrial product development, with experience leading teams and managing quality-cost-time. * Experience in development of serial products, from concept to industrialization. * Minimum operational English level B2 * Availability for occasional travel. * Leadership skills, data-driven decision making, clear communication and coordination of multidisciplinary teams. * Residence in Asturias.
