**Job Title:** Environmental Management Operator **Job Type:** Operational **Job Location:** Bogotá, Colombia **Grade:** 1 **Request ID:** 37255 **Purpose:** * Ensure the proper operation and functioning of the wastewater treatment plant, sludge treatment system, bin water recovery system, and correct dispatch of by-products generated in the production process, within the framework of environmental conservation and corporate social responsibility. **SCHEDULE: ROTATING SHIFTS Sun to Sun (Operational Position)** **Responsibilities:** * Operate the wastewater treatment plant, sludge treatment system, bin water recovery system, and dispatch of by-products generated in the production process. * Conduct physical and chemical sampling and analysis at the various control points established in the wastewater, sludge, and bin water treatment systems. * Maintain the required physical and/or digital records related to the operation of the various systems and the dispatch of by-products. * Perform daily inspections on the equipment comprising the wastewater treatment plant, sludge treatment system, bin water recovery system, and by-product storage systems. * Conduct daily inspections and cleaning of the various water recovery and recirculation systems installed in the production plant. * Report any deviations observed in the different systems to the immediate supervisor. * Keep the inventory of consumed and stored chemicals up to date. * Record water, energy, and gas consumption according to production cycles and report to the immediate supervisor. * Record monthly quantities of reusable and non-reusable waste generated and delivered in the environmental matrix. * Verify and ensure that waste containers are permanently covered. * Conduct weekly audits of the 5S program in the environmental management area. * Execute tasks defined in the master cleaning plan for the various systems. * Maintain order and cleanliness in storage areas for recyclable materials, reusable materials, scrap, debris, wood, and garbage. * Know and comply with the integrated management policy. * Carry out appropriate environmental practices as established in the applicable operational control procedures. Identify and report environmental aspects, incidents, and/or suggestions related to the environment using the procedures established in the environmental management system. **Education**: Environmental Technicians or Technologists **Experience:** 2 years in similar positions **Knowledge:** * Communication, teamwork, work pace, quality, initiative, required supervision, relationships and cooperation, attitude toward work, discipline, * Knowledge of industrial safety and occupational health guidelines and standards. * HACCP and GMP.
