This role is suited for professionals who can work autonomously on specific process engineering tasks under the supervision of senior engineers. Most projects involve combined cycle plants. **Location:** **Gijón, Asturias** **Work Mode:** On-site working mode **Responsibilities:** Participate in process engineering development: mass and energy balances, hydraulic calculations, and associated technical documentation. Collaborate in the preparation of data sheets for equipment and instruments. Review and develop piping and instrumentation diagrams (P\&ID) under technical supervision. Support technical specification and bid tabulation for major equipment. Contribute to the integration of equipment within the plant's overall process. Support equipment supply follow-up from the process engineering perspective. Collaborate in process safety studies (HAZOP) and preliminary process control definition. **Requirements:** Education: Degree in Chemical Engineering, Industrial Chemical Engineering, Energy Engineering, Industrial Technologies or equivalent. 2 to 4 years of experience in process engineering within industrial environments or the energy sector. Involvement in basic and detailed engineering for power generation plants and/or Oil \& Gas facilities. Knowledge of hydraulic calculations and preparation of mass and energy balances. Proficiency with process simulation software (ASPEN HYSYS, ASPEN Plus or similar). Experience in reviewing and developing P\&ID diagrams. Familiarity with equipment data sheets, control valves, instruments, and relief systems. Basic knowledge of process control. Ability to interpret technical specifications and collaborate in technical bid tabulation. Fluent English language skills. **Non-essential Requirements** Participation in HAZOP studies and process safety analysis.
