Environmental Consultant \- Leioa Reference 2023\-1 Date 2026\-08\-31 What are we looking for? Saitec is seeking an Environmental Consultant for its Environmental Department. Main responsibilities will include: * Preparing documentation related to environmental impact assessments and environmental integration annexes for infrastructure projects and civil works (primarily railway) * Participating in the preparation of technical proposals for projects, public tenders, and construction management * Managing subcontractors and liaising with clients * Participating in environmental monitoring and follow-up during construction or operational phases, environmental monitoring plans, and environmental construction management * Conducting fieldwork related to inventories for environmental studies. What do we require? * **Qualification**: Bachelor's degree, Licentiate, or Engineer (in Biology, Environmental Sciences, Environmental Engineering, Agricultural Engineering, Forestry Engineering, or Forestry) * **Experience**: Minimum 4 years of experience in environmental consulting, especially in environmental management of civil infrastructure projects. * **Highly desirable**: Prior experience in environmental management of ADIF projects. * Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) * Geographic Information Systems (GIS): ability to cross-check georeferenced vector or raster data, and prepare simple figures and maps. * English proficiency at B2 level is desirable. What do we offer? * Permanent contract. * Full-time position. * Annual salary between €25,000–€32,000. This salary range is indicative; your final remuneration will be determined based on your academic qualifications and years of experience.
