In the research area of **Sustainable Fisheries Technologies (TPS)**, we are looking for someone who: * Gets involved in technical project teams within projects and developments that promote the **sustainability of the maritime-fishing sector.** * Focuses on **digitalization and decarbonization of fishing fleets**, contributing to **technical tasks and development of technology-based solutions** (mechanics, electronics, robotics, etc.) requiring engineering competencies (e.g., mechatronics, electronics, industrial or similar). * Actively participates in the **development of technology-based projects**, as well as **fieldwork, primarily onboard vessels**, and together with industrial companies mainly from the maritime-fishing sector. * Contributes to **publications and dissemination and communication activities of results** in different formats, scientific and technical articles, participation in conferences, etc. This person will support the digitalization of the maritime-fishing sector, one of the key technological focuses of the TPS area, and collaborate transversally with other departments.
