




We have an excellent opportunity for a Building Automation Support Technician to join our team at Honeywell in Madrid. This role is responsible for delivering specialized services on building control system commissioning projects, including SCADA and CAD graphic configuration and execution, as well as PLC programming. We manage maintenance and technical projects for facility control systems: * Low-voltage control (CTs, CPDs, UPS, electrical panels, lighting) * HVAC control (cogeneration loops, chilled and hot water production, air handlers, fan coil units, exhaust fans, etc.) * Fire detection systems (fire alarm and automatic fire suppression systems) * Electromechanical facility control systems Our EBI, DVM, and Energy Manager software is used to manage the entire system (the candidate should have experience with this type of system), and must meet financial and productivity metrics. **KEY RESPONSIBILITIES** **MANAGEMENT:** * Achieve targets related to contract retention, billable hours, productivity, process compliance, and margin. Ensure timely delivery of agreed-upon services, within scope and budget. * **CUSTOMER SATISFACTION:** * Maintain customer satisfaction at acceptable levels and resolve customer satisfaction issues. * Review VOC feedback and take appropriate proactive measures. Improve customer satisfaction and comfort by identifying opportunities for system upgrades, one-off service needs, maintenance contract extensions, and other sales opportunities—both individually and collaboratively with assigned team members. * **COST CONTROL AND PRODUCTIVITY:** * Ensure availability of required tools, equipment, and materials by maintaining and controlling inventory levels. * Actively support implementation and adherence to productivity improvement processes related to service delivery, taking responsibility for implementing them within one’s own area of accountability. * Establish and implement standards (quality processes, service manuals, time reporting) and ensure the service team meets performance expectations. **RESOURCE PLANNING:** * Ensure appropriate resources are allocated to service contracts, additional works, and small-scale service projects. Develop relationships with local subcontractors to ensure appropriately sized subcontractor resource pools are available. * **HEALTH, SAFETY, AND LEGAL COMPLIANCE:** * Ensure a safe and healthy work environment through effective communication, training, equipment/vehicle maintenance, and facility improvements. * Where applicable, ensure compliance with industry safety and fire protection codes and standards. * Ensure compliance with local legal requirements. * Follow Honeywell Standards and ensure the team complies, emphasizing that each service technician uses the manual service tool and all work orders are submitted via the Service Management System. **EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION / QUALIFICATIONS AND KNOWLEDGE** * Degree in engineering or vocational training in IT systems, telecommunications, automation and control, industrial engineering, or electricity. * Approximately 2–5 years’ experience as a Field Service Representative / Field Service Engineer, with hands-on experience in security/fire protection/HVAC products and systems / control systems / SCADA / lighting systems and related technologies. * Fluency in Spanish and intermediate English proficiency. * Experience in communication, negotiation, and process implementation. * Ability to gather relevant operational problem information from multiple sources, think broadly about those problems, and recognize trends/potential cause-effect relationships. * Ability to gather relevant operational problem information from multiple sources, think broadly about those problems, and recognize trends/potential cause-effect relationships. * Ability to make sound and effective decisions and take clear actions to address problems. * Skill in building and maintaining effective customer relationships based on trust and mutual understanding. * Ability to achieve results by delegating decision-making authority and task accountability to appropriate direct reports, establishing clear timelines and deliverables, and providing appropriate and ongoing support and feedback. * Ability to demonstrate energy and determination to achieve results and improvements by overcoming obstacles, remaining effective despite setbacks, and challenging current thinking.
