




DESCRIPTION Eosol Group is seeking a Quality and Environmental Manager to join our team in Bilbao. This role is essential to ensure compliance with the highest quality and sustainability standards in our railway project in the area. The estimated minimum duration of the project is 15 months, offering an excellent opportunity for experienced professionals. **Position Mission:** The Quality and Environmental Manager will be primarily responsible for developing, implementing, and supervising quality and environmental management systems within the project. The main objective will be to ensure that all operations comply with current regulations, Eosol Group's internal policies, and customer expectations, minimizing environmental impact and optimizing processes. **Main Responsibilities:** * **Quality Management:** * Develop and implement the project-specific Quality Plan, ensuring alignment with applicable regulations (ISO 9001, etc.) and customer requirements. * Supervise and coordinate quality control activities throughout all project phases, from material reception to construction execution. * Conduct internal quality inspections and audits, identifying non-conformities and proposing corrective and preventive actions. * Manage quality-related documentation, including procedures, work instructions, records, and improvement plans. * Ensure traceability of materials and processes. * Promote a culture of quality across the entire project team. * **Environmental Management:** * Develop and implement the project's Environmental Management Plan, complying with current environmental legislation and Eosol Group guidelines (ISO 14001, etc.). * Identify and assess environmental risks associated with project activities, proposing prevention and control measures. * Supervise proper waste management, emissions, discharges, and other environmental aspects. * Conduct environmental monitoring and measurements to verify compliance with established objectives. * Manage environmental documentation, including permits, licenses, and records. * Promote sustainable practices and minimize the project’s ecological footprint. * **Coordination and Training:** * Collaborate closely with project management, technical departments, production teams, and subcontractors to integrate quality and environmental considerations into all decisions. * Deliver training and raise awareness among project staff regarding quality and environmental requirements. * Serve as the primary point of contact with regulatory bodies, certifiers, and clients on quality and environmental matters. * Manage incidents and non-conformities, leading root cause investigations and implementing improvement actions. **Job Requirements:** * University degree in Engineering (Civil, Civil Works, Public Works, Industrial, Environmental, or similar). * Minimum of 2 years of proven experience in similar roles, preferably in the infrastructure or railway sector. * In-depth knowledge of Quality (ISO 9001) and Environmental (ISO 14001) standards and regulations. * Experience in developing and implementing Quality Plans and Environmental Management Plans. * Ability to conduct internal and external audits. * Skill in identifying risks and proposing corrective and preventive measures. * Proficiency in office software (Microsoft Office). * Project management experience will be valued positively. * Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills. * Analytical thinking and problem-solving ability. * Proactive, autonomous, and results-oriented. * Residence in Bilbao or surrounding areas. **What We Offer:** * Joining a leading company in the industry, working on large-scale projects. * Indefinite contract with a minimum duration of 15 months. * Opportunities for professional development and continuous learning. * Competitive salary commensurate with experience and qualifications. * Becoming part of a dynamic team committed to excellence.
