




At SENER Aerospace and Defense, we are looking to add a Responsible for Defense and Space Mechanisms Development to our team to lead the development of new products in the areas of pointing mechanisms and aerodynamic surface actuation and control systems. **What you will do:** * Analyze and negotiate requirements for new products * Define execution plans and cost estimates * Define product architecture * Coordinate mechanical engineering activities, including 3D design, structural and thermal analysis, mechanical performance analysis, specification and selection of mechanical components (screws, bearings, motors, gearboxes, etc.) * Coordinate with other technical disciplines such as electronics and automation to study system requirements, interfaces, budgets, and performance * Define and execute design validation campaigns; follow-up on prototype manufacturing, assembly, and testing * Product industrialization and production support * Specification of subcontracted work packages * Technical follow-up of suppliers and subcontractors * Direct interaction with the customer * Develop product improvement plans and manage obsolescence * Participate in proposals for new projects (conceptual definition, preliminary design, pre-sizing, planning of verification campaigns, cost and resource estimation, etc.) **What we expect from you:** * Master's or Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering (Mechanical specialization), Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent * Minimum of 6 years of experience in mechanical component design, calculation, and testing, and at least 2 years leading product development teams within R&D, Engineering, or Production departments in companies developing proprietary products (automotive, aerospace, rail, machine tools, robotics, etc.) * International experience will be valued.
