




We are looking for an **Executive Chef** passionate about **author cuisine**, with a sensitivity for ingredients, creativity, and attention to detail, to lead the à la carte restaurant at the **Hotel Alahuar**, an establishment with its own identity and a carefully curated, distinctive gastronomic offering. The selected candidate will be responsible for the **overall kitchen management**, combining culinary excellence, organization, and control, while working closely with the hotel’s management team. We are deeply committed to quality, as well as to social and environmental responsibility. **Main Responsibilities** * Plan, organize, and supervise the overall operation of the kitchen. * Lead, coordinate, and motivate the team, ensuring a positive work environment and compliance with the hotel’s quality and service standards. * Design and develop the menu, as well as special menus, technical sheets, and recipe costings, ensuring balance, creativity, and cost control. * Supervise food preparation, presentation, and plating, paying close attention to aesthetics and coherence within the gastronomic concept. * Carry out forecasting, ordering, and control of raw materials, ensuring proper storage, stock rotation, and optimal utilization. * Guarantee compliance with food safety, hygiene, and HACCP regulations throughout all stages of the process. * Collaborate with management and other departments to continuously improve service and the guest’s gastronomic experience. **What Are We Looking For?** * Prior experience as Executive Chef or Deputy Executive Chef, with at least 2–4 years in hotels or à la carte restaurants featuring a defined gastronomic concept. * Solid knowledge of team management, recipe costings, productive organization, and cost control. * Culinary training (Vocational Training Program and/or Professional Certification), desirable. * Valid food handler certificate. * Organized, solution-oriented individual with the ability to adapt to unforeseen circumstances. * Proactive, dynamic attitude, oriented toward teamwork. * Sensitivity toward ingredients, quality, and creative cuisine. * Disability certificate of 33% or higher is valued. **What Do We Offer?** * A gastronomic project with its own identity and room for creativity. * A carefully curated work environment and a committed team. * Job stability and conditions commensurate with your experience. * At Hoteles Poseidon, you’ll enjoy two days off per week, as stipulated by the collective agreement. * We want our guests’ holidays—and your work—to be a great environmental experience and a small contribution to *the planet’s wellbeing*.
