




Job Summary: We are seeking a Power Engineer to specify, design, and validate railway traction equipment, collaborating in the development of sustainable railway systems. Key Highlights: 1. The CAF Power \& Automation product range includes the following products: * Electric traction systems for the railway industry: In-house traction equipment for direct current (DC) and alternating current (AC) * Energy storage systems: Solutions based on energy accumulators and guidelines for efficient driving. * Railway control and communication systems: Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS) based on ICT technology. **What Are We Looking For?** CAF Power \& Automation seeks to hire a Power Engineer. Their main responsibility will be to specify, design, and validate railway traction equipment to meet project requirements. To this end, they will carry out the following activities: * Specify and design traction and energy storage converters. * Specify, review, and validate/homologate power and energy storage equipment/components supplied from external sources. * Design, tune, and validate control strategies for converters. * Prepare preliminary electrical diagrams. * Collaborate with the Electromechanics Department in the mechanical design of equipment. * Commissioning and validation of designed equipment in the power laboratory.
