Job Summary: We are seeking a Software and Systems Verification and Validation Engineer for an international project in the railway sector, collaborating within multidisciplinary teams. Implementation of functional safety standards and RAMS principles Sector: Engineering and technology consulting Location: Madrid, Spain Description: We are looking for a Software and Systems Verification and Validation Engineer for an exciting international project in the railway sector. Your main responsibilities will include: * Conducting Verification and Validation (V\&V) activities for software and systems according to railway standards CENELEC EN 50128 and EN 50126\. * Implementing and ensuring compliance with functional safety standards in critical environments. * Applying RAMS principles (reliability, availability, maintainability, safety) in railway projects. * Using validation and simulation tools, performing risk analyses and safety studies. * Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and delivering technical reports. Requirements: What do we look for in your profile? * Over 2 years of experience in software/systems Verification and Validation (V\&V) within the railway domain. * Degree in Electronics, Computer Science, Industrial Engineering, Telecommunications, or related fields. * Experience implementing safety standards. * Advanced knowledge of RAMS and railway regulations. * Experience with requirements management and traceability tools. * Experience in software development and testing. * Fluent technical English (other languages are a plus). Availability: * Occasional travel to Madrid (up to 3\-4 times per year for a few days). Experience: 2
