Job Summary: We are seeking a Research Technician to develop a digital platform that connects migrants with rural opportunities, integrating AI and blockchain. Key Highlights: 1. Collaboration on a social and technological project The Escuela Politécnica Superior requires hiring a Research Technician to join the ARRAIGO project team. The selected candidate will participate in developing a digital platform aimed at connecting migrant individuals with opportunities in rural environments, integrating advanced technologies such as artificial intelligence and blockchain. Their work will be pivotal in developing recommendation algorithms and designing the platform’s technological architecture, contributing to ensuring system traceability, security, and efficiency. ##### **Main responsibilities include:** * Development and implementation of recommendation algorithms based on social and occupational criteria. * Design and development of the platform’s backend and frontend architecture. * Management and exploitation of relational and non-relational databases. * Integration of technological modules (AI, blockchain, augmented reality). * Development of APIs and microservices-based architecture. * Execution of technical tests in controlled environments and system validation. * Collaboration with multidisciplinary teams throughout project development. ##### **Requirements:** * Bachelor’s or Engineering degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Systems Engineering, Telecommunications, or related field. * Postgraduate studies in Artificial Intelligence, Blockchain, Cybersecurity, or Cloud Computing are advantageous. * Minimum 1\-2 years of experience in software development or technological projects. * Proficiency in Python and experience with development frameworks (Django, Flask, Node.js, etc.). * Knowledge of Full\-Stack development (React, Angular, or Vue). * Experience with databases (SQL and NoSQL). * Knowledge of Machine Learning (TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Scikit\-learn). * Familiarity with blockchain technologies (Ethereum, Solidity). * Knowledge of Docker and DevOps environments. * Availability of 20 hours/week starting September 1, 2026\.
