A VIE for a Maintenance Program Engineer has arisen within Airbus (Commercial Aircraft) in Getafe (Spain). You will join the Airbus Maintenance Program Engineering Team, a multi\-skilled and international team of experienced engineers, developing scheduled maintenance requirements as a key element to ensure safe, reliable and efficient operation of all Airbus Commercial fleets and all customers worldwide. The jobholder will contribute to development of Maintenance Programs within the framework of Airworthiness regulations, and boost efficiency of our process to ensure First Class Customer Experience and Competitiveness. Tasks \& accountabilities Your main tasks will include: * Contribute to establishment of a safe and economical maintenance program according to Airworthiness requirements * Define, validate and verify Scheduled Maintenance Program requirements for future designs. * Represent Airbus in Operator meetings, technical conferences and international industry seminars. * Identify and develop digital solutions for business improvement and efficiency. This role will involve some travel a few times during the year, mainly within Europe, and as such you must be able to travel accordingly. Required skills You have the following skills and experience: * Educated to degree level in Aeronautical Engineering or equivalent. * Minimum 2 years experience in aeronautical field in Airline, MRO, Engineering support or Aircraft maintenance (apprenticeships and internships included). * Good knowledge and appetite for Digitalization and IA. Project management experience. * In addition you are capable to demonstrate the following skills: * Good presentation and influencing skills, both oral and written. * Team player, collaborative working style. * Demonstrated curious and innovative mindset. * Resolute, adaptable, open\-minded and flexible. Negotiation level in English, both oral and written.
