**Requisition Number:** 23538BR **Description:** Stantec is seeking to hire a Senior Geotechnical Engineer for its offices in LATAM, a professional with at least 20 years of work experience in the specialty. Some of their specific responsibilities will be: Lead a multidisciplinary team with experience in the study, design, management, and closure of TSF following international (GISTM and CDA) and current local practices and standards. Maintain close communication with the owner, designer, contractor, CQC, CQA, and other parties involved in this process to ensure a safe structure that protects the lives and property of neighboring communities. **Qualifications:** Experience: * Civil Engineer with a technical Master's degree * 20\-25 years of work experience * 15\-20 years as lead designer of TSF * 10\-15 years as EoR * Experience managing multidisciplinary and multicultural teams * Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Spanish and English * Knowledge of new international standards for TSF design and management * Extensive knowledge in geotechnics, hydrology, geology, rheology, and related fields * Professional and commercial network within major international mining companies operating in Latin America * Availability to relocate to Latin America for a period of at least 2 years **About Stantec:** We are active members of the communities we serve.
