Procurement Engineer – Waste Activities **Job Description** -------------------------- Veolia Spain is looking to hire a Procurement Engineer – Waste Activities, reporting to the Procurement Manager for our Waste business line, with possible locations in Madrid, Barcelona or Seville. Responsibilities: * Manage procurement requirement gathering from technical managers across departments. * Identify, evaluate and qualify specialized suppliers for materials, equipment and maintenance related to plastic recycling, resource recovery, composting and biomass, or water treatment, verifying environmental certifications and regulatory compliance. * Draft technical specifications and tender documents for reagents, equipment, subcontracting services and materials in accordance with applicable regulations, including ESG criteria in procurement. * Issue RFQs for investments and recurring purchases, perform TCO analysis and prepare technical\-economic comparisons to negotiate commercial terms and framework agreements. * Negotiate and formalize framework contracts and service level agreements (SLAs) for supplies, maintenance and services, including sector-specific clauses coordinated with the Legal Department. * Calculate and report generated savings. * Identify savings opportunities through standardization and consolidation, proposing improvements impacting operational efficiency and contributing to sustainability and circular economy objectives.
