**Description:** ---------------- The candidate will be assigned tasks involving knowledge and experience in: **Main Responsibilities:** * Design hardware systems for mobile robotics * Design PCBs for new or existing products * Provide expertise and support in various development-related areas (component selection, wiring, proof-of-concept testing, simulations) * Collaborate with the rest of the team to ensure integration across different development activities * Document designs and comply with established processes **Additional Responsibilities:** * Participate in R&D projects * Prepare technical documentation, user manuals, etc. for customers * Support sales teams in preparing quotations * Manage workshop purchases and liaise with suppliers **Requirements:** --------------- Requirements: * Bachelor's degree in Robotics Engineering, Mechatronics, or equivalent technical discipline * Knowledge of digital and analog electronics * Knowledge of component selection and alternatives * Experience managing component libraries (symbols and footprints) * Experience implementing design rules to ensure reliable, cost-effective, and high-quality manufacturing * Knowledge of signal integrity in digital interfaces (Ethernet, CAN, USB, I2C, SPI, etc.) * Thermal management optimization * Design with multiple voltage regulators on a single board * Design incorporating voltage and signal isolation * Basic knowledge of 3D modeling, components, and PCBs * Creation and management of documentation * Excellent oral and written English skills **Desirable Qualifications:** * Familiarity with test equipment (oscilloscopes, active/passive current probes, multimeters, power supplies, signal generators, etc.) * Good soldering skills will be an advantage * Knowledge of IPC-2221 (generic standard for PCB) and IPC-7351 (SMD and land pattern standards)
