




**Planned Vacancies** ---------------------- 1 **Company** ----------- Tragsatec **Project / Hiring Reason** --------------------------------- Tecnologías y Servicios Agrarios, S.A., S.M.E., M.P., a subsidiary company of TRAGSA GROUP, specialized in engineering, consulting and technical assistance activities in agricultural, livestock, forestry and environmental matters, is seeking to hire 1 Engineer, Graduate or Bachelor + Official Master's Degree - CITES species control actions (Madrid) in the Community of Madrid. **Work Location** -------------------- * Community of Madrid **Functions and Responsibilities** ---------------------- * Assist Enforcement Authorities against illegal trade. * Prepare proposals for technical and expert reports on species included in the CITES Convention (Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora). * Carry out tasks related to monitoring trade and trafficking of endangered wild fauna and flora species under CITES. **Specific Requirements** -------------------------- Candidates must prove compliance with the requirements by attaching the following documents in the "Attachments" section of the application (or during the selection process), as applicable: * Official academic degree certificate or proof of payment of fees for issuance of the academic degree. * Work history record and/or employment contract evidencing and certifying the required professional experience. * Internship attachments evidencing and certifying the required academic experience, if applicable. ### **Education** #### **Qualification** * Hold an official Engineering, Bachelor's or Technical Engineering degree + Official Master's Degree in Forestry Engineering, Agricultural Engineering, Environmental Engineering and Management, Biology, Environmental Sciences or Marine Sciences (MECES Level 3) (degree recognized in Spain or equivalence certificate issued by the General Secretariat of Universities). #### **Languages** * English, minimum level B1 (level will be verified during the selection process). ### **Previous Experience** * At least 1 year of professional and/or academic experience preparing technical reports on conservation and/or biodiversity. ### **Other Essential Requirements** * Availability to travel at least 25% of working time throughout the Iberian Peninsula and islands. **Merits (Evaluable)** ------------------------ ### **Education** #### **Languages** * English Level: B2 ### **Previous Experience** * From 1 year up to 2 years of experience in work related to endangered species and their captive maintenance, breeding programs and animal welfare (professional and/or academic experience) * From 1 year up to 2 years of experience in species identification (professional and/or academic experience) **Observations** ----------------- * We offer: + Fixed-term contract with an estimated duration of 9 months. + Full-time position.
