Description
At Dia, we are looking to hire a ***Procurement Buyer*** for the ***Real Estate and Procurement Department.*** The selected candidate will join the team with the objective of **managing procurement activities assigned to construction and maintenance projects, in line with defined strategic goals and the procurement budget**.
The candidate’s ***main responsibilities*** will include:
* Identifying suppliers and carrying out supplier qualification in accordance with company standards and guidelines.
* Negotiating products within their assigned categories through the company’s established indirect procurement process, promoting new ideas, initiatives, or products.
* Defining the required logistics in coordination with responsible personnel from each involved department.
* Managing procurement dossiers and collaborating with specifiers to identify potential cost-saving opportunities.
* Monitoring negotiations (RFI/RFQ/RFP) and supplier payments using the designated tool (SAP Ariba) for online negotiation/auctions.
* Communicating negotiation outcomes and requesting approvals at established committees, as well as informing both suppliers and internal clients.
* Drafting supplier contracts, documenting contractual terms, and closing negotiations within the company’s procurement tools.
* Collaborating with the wider procurement team to deliver comprehensive solutions to internal clients (e.g., equipment, branding, machinery, refrigeration, logistics, etc.).
* Coordinating with relevant departments (Operations, Technical, Commercial, Marketing) for the execution of campaigns and projects.
* Tracking KPIs and performance objectives.
***Requirements:***
* University degree in Structural Engineering, Civil Engineering, Building Construction, or Architecture.
* Minimum one year of experience performing similar duties is preferred.
* Experience in commercial areas will be valued.
* Advanced proficiency in Excel.
* English level B2\.
* Occasional availability to visit suppliers, stores, or attend events.
