We seek passionate and talented professionals to join our team and contribute to the success of challenging, large-scale projects. **Position Description:** We are looking to incorporate into our team a Mechanical Engineer with proven experience in EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) projects for synchronous generators and/or electrical substations. The selected candidate will be responsible for developing detailed mechanical engineering deliverables, ensuring quality and efficiency across all project phases—from design through on-site supervision. This position represents an excellent opportunity for a professional with a vocation for the renewable energy and electrical infrastructure sectors, who wishes to grow within a dynamic and collaborative environment. **Key Responsibilities:** * **Development of Detailed Mechanical Engineering:** Actively participate in the design and mechanical engineering of EPC projects, focusing on the electrical substation discipline and associated synchronous generator systems. * **Design and Review of Mechanical Systems:** Design, calculate, and review critical mechanical systems for synchronous generators, including cooling, lubrication, hydraulic, compressed air systems, and other relevant mechanical components. * **Preparation of Technical Documentation:** Create and review technical specifications, detailed calculation reports, drawings, and all necessary engineering documentation required for project execution, ensuring compliance with regulations and quality standards. * **On-Site Supervision:** Conduct site visits and supervise mechanical installations, ensuring execution aligns with designs and technical specifications. Coordinate with the construction team and other departments to resolve issues and ensure project progress. * **Management of Suppliers and Contractors:** Collaborate in the technical selection and evaluation of suppliers and contractors related to the mechanical discipline. * **Technical Problem Analysis and Resolution:** Identify and propose solutions to technical and operational challenges arising during the design and construction phases. * **Interdepartmental Collaboration:** Work closely with other engineering teams (electrical, civil), project management, and construction to ensure integration and overall project success. **Essential Requirements:** * **Academic Qualification:** University degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering (Mechanical specialization), or a related field. * **Professional Experience:** Minimum 4 years of professional experience in EPC project development, specifically in synchronous generators and/or electrical substations. * **On-Site Experience:** Minimum 2 years of practical experience in on-site supervision and management of mechanical installations. * **Technical Knowledge:** Solid knowledge of mechanical design, structural calculations, fluid mechanics, thermodynamics, and cooling/lubrication systems. * **Languages:** English proficiency at B2 level or higher (certifiable), for technical communication and potential interaction with international stakeholders. * **Driver’s License:** Valid Class B driver’s license is mandatory. * **Occupational Health and Safety Training:** Completion of the 60-hour Occupational Risk Prevention (ORP) course or equivalent. **Desirable Qualifications:** * Experience in the renewable energy sector (solar, wind). * Familiarity with sector-specific technical regulations for the electrical industry and substations. * Proficiency in CAD design software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks) and finite element analysis (FEA) tools. * Experience in project management. **What We Offer:** * Join a leading company in the renewable energy sector, working on large-scale projects. * Opportunities for professional development and continuous training. * A dynamic, innovative, and collaborative work environment. * Competitive salary commensurate with experience and qualifications.
