We are looking for a Nursing Assistant to work with us at one of our social institutions. The Social Institution belongs to a religious order. Values such as justice, dignity, ecology, transcendence, boldness, and creativity shape our way of working. \- Start date: December 2nd \- End date: February 2nd \- Location: Barceloneta district (Barcelona) Monday: 08:00 – 14:30 h Tuesday: 08:00 – 16:45 h Wednesday: 08:00 – 14:30 h Thursday: 14:00 – 20:30 h Friday: 08:30 – 14:30 h One weekend off every four weeks, according to shifts (Saturday and Sunday from 08:00 to 16:30 h), with rest on the previous Friday and the following Monday. \- Assist in nursing care at a residential center for men in situations of social exclusion who require a convalescence period due to health reasons. \- Support in residents' hygiene. \- Serve as a support and reference point for residents. \- Assist in feeding and meeting special dietary needs of residents. \- Maintain, replenish, supply, and clean medications and nursing equipment. \- Follow nurse's instructions and carry out team agreements. \- Keep the nursing medicine cabinet organized and deliver prescribed medication to each resident. \- Assist in necessary procedures for medical and healthcare coverage of the individuals served. \- Ensure follow-up of prescribed treatments, care, correct preparation and administration of medication and food. \- Support in health education. \- Manage distribution of residents' clothing. * Experience: 1 year. \- Minimum of 1 year of experience in the described duties. \- Hospital experience and/or experience in the field of social exclusion will be valued. * Higher Vocational Training Degree in Nursing Care * Catalan (intermediate spoken, intermediate written) * Spanish (intermediate spoken, intermediate written) * Competencies / knowledge: \- Additional complementary qualifications will be valued. \- Computer skills: proficient user of basic computer applications (word processor, spreadsheet, internet, email, etc.). \- Basic knowledge of English, French... will be valued.
