Through P\&PD Engineering (ATS Global), we are managing the selection process for an Electrical Calculations Engineer for one of our clients based in Madrid. Responsibilities: * Design of electrical systems. * Electrical studies, static and dynamic, in power generation plants, wind farms, photovoltaic plants, BESS and industrial plants. * Load flow, short-circuit and motor starting studies. * Grounding grid calculation studies. * Cable sizing studies and protection settings and coordination. * Modeling of electrical machines: conventional generators, combined cycles, wind turbines. * Dynamic simulation of electrical systems. Stability studies. * Analysis of compliance with grid codes. * Coordination with other disciplines as well as with the client. * Organization of junior engineers' work. Desired skills and knowledge: \- University degree in Electrical Engineering. \- Minimum of 5 years of experience performing electrical calculations in projects related to power generation plants, wind farms, photovoltaic plants, BESS, industrial plants, or similar. \- Knowledge of electrical regulations: IEC, European Directives, Spanish Regulations, IEEE. Familiarity with various Grid Codes. \- Excellent proficiency in ETAP, DigSilent, PSS/E required. Proficiency in other tools such as PSCAD, CDESG, CANECO BT will be valued. \- English, minimum level B2. \- Availability to travel abroad for short/medium durations.
