About the Role Are you eager to join our team and participate in an automotive-sector project? We are seeking a junior electromechanical technician for an on-site project located in Sant Esteve Sesrovires (Barcelona). What will you do? As an electromechanical technician specializing in the prototype vehicle development phase, you will actively participate in the integration, testing, and enhancement of mechanical, electrical, and electronic systems. Your work will combine both diagnostics and direct intervention on hardware and software, ensuring prototypes reliably evolve toward their final production version. Key Responsibilities Complete assembly and disassembly of vehicles—both mechanical and electrical—during development and validation phases. Software (SW) updates and hardware (HW) replacement in prototype vehicles, applying project-phase-specific configurations. Use of diagnostic tools such as ODIS for coding, parameterization, and error detection in vehicle electronic systems. Conducting state comparisons between vehicles and configurations, using tools like TEVBV and DataFreeze to identify deviations or verify component versions. Collaboration with development engineers to validate functionalities and provide technical feedback regarding feasibility or potential improvements. What are we looking for? Intermediate or advanced vocational qualification in electromechanics/automotive engineering or related fields. Minimum 6 months of experience—experience in the automotive sector is highly valued.
