We are currently seeking an **Environmental Engineer** to join our Barcelona office. This position will support various ongoing developments across Europe and North America. **Responsibilities:** * Conduct environmental assessments and feasibility studies for renewable energy projects. * Support environmental impact assessments and permitting and authorization processes. * Monitor and analyze data to ensure regulatory compliance and adherence to sustainability standards. * Collaborate with engineering teams to optimize the design of renewable energy systems. * Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure regulatory compliance. * Develop and implement strategies to minimize environmental risks and enhance sustainability. * Engage with key stakeholders, including public agencies, community organizations, and suppliers. * Contribute to biodiversity impact assessments and habitat protection strategies. * Utilize GIS tools and environmental modeling software for site evaluation. * Support Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) and carbon footprint calculations for project evaluation. **Requirements:** * Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering or a related field. * Experience in designing and implementing renewable energy projects. * Strong knowledge of environmental regulations and sustainability practices. * Experience with environmental permitting processes in markets such as Spain, Sweden, and Canada. * Familiarity with GIS tools and environmental modeling software for site evaluation. * Knowledge of Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) methodologies and carbon footprint calculation. * Understanding of biodiversity studies and habitat protection strategies. * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, along with excellent organizational abilities. * Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills. * Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks. * Willingness to travel to project sites and work under varying environmental conditions. * Fluent English (Portuguese, Spanish, or French are assets). **What we offer:** * Competitive compensation package commensurate with experience. * Opportunity to work in the rapidly growing renewable energy sector. * Multicultural and international work environment. * Health insurance. * Professional development and internal career growth opportunities. * Collaborative and supportive work environment.
