We are leaders on digital technology services, and we provide large\-scale technologic solutions to big companies. **What are we looking for?** We are looking for a **Application Operations 2nd Level Support** to work with one of our clients which is a swiss bank. **Location**: Madrid, Sol area (3 days office, 2 days WFH) **Schedule**: Office working hours **Key Responsibilities:** * Ensuring the operation of core banking applications in respect to application management (2nd level support) * Processing of incident tickets generated by monitoring systems and the local service desk within SLAs * Performing coordination / communication tasks between incident managers, applications service owners, 3rd\-level support and other IT / Business stakeholders * Takeover of periodical on\-call duty (weekly 7x24\) * Administration of change requests, for application related process fulfillment * Participation in periodic releases on weekends * Engage in projects relating to operational aspects for existing or newly integrated applications * Routine data cleansing of the systems * Process optimization and automation of repetitive tasks including handover to L1 (Control Center) * Keep application operation documentation (knowledge database) up to date **YOUR PROFILE** * Completed IT training (Degree in Computer Science or other IT related certification) * At least 2 years of professional experience in application support * Good Unix know\-how (shell scripting is an advantage) * Knowledge of Windows OS at server level * Knowledge of Java application server / database / AWA is an advantage * ITIL Foundation certification * Ideally, experience in banking with a knowledge of financial products * Process\-oriented and analytical approach * Enthusiastic team player with strong communication skills * Highly motivated, and proactive, with an eagerness to learn and take on new concepts * Good written and spoken English, German an advantage **What can we offer?** * 23 days of Annual Leave plus the 24th and 31st of December as discretionary days! * Numerous benefits (Heath Care Plan, Internet Connectivity, Life and Accident Insurances). * \`Retribución Flexible´ Program: (Meals, Kinder Garden, Transport, online English lessons, Heath Care Plan…) * Free access to several training platforms * Professional stability and career plans * UST also, compensates referrals from which you could benefit when you refer professionals. * The option to pick between 12 or 14 payments along the year. * Real Work Life Balance measures (flexibility, WFH or remote work policy, compacted hours during summertime…) * UST Club Platform discounts and gym Access discounts **In UST we are committed to equal opportunities in our selection processes and do not discriminate based on race, gender, disability, age, religion, sexual orientation or nationality.
