If you are passionate about metallography and enjoy working in an advanced technical environment, we want you on our team! **Key Responsibilities:** * Metallographic sample preparation: *cutting*, *grinding*, *polishing*, and *cold or hot mounting*. * Performing *chemical etching* and preparing specific reagents for different materials. * Conducting microstructural analysis using *optical* and *digital microscopy*. * Supporting inspection projects by providing relevant microstructural information. * Carrying out complementary tests: *hardness* (HB, HR, HV), *microhardness*, and surface characterization. * Preparing *technical reports* in accordance with ASTM, ISO, UNE standards and internal procedures. * Maintaining *traceable records* of results according to the quality management system (ISO 9001 / ISO 17025). We look forward to your application! ### **Minimum Requirements** **Minimum Requirements:** * Education: *Higher Vocational Training Cycle* in Laboratory, Analysis and Quality Control, Metallurgy and Materials, or equivalent. * Experience: Minimum *2 years* in a metallurgical laboratory. * Demonstrable experience in metallography (preparation and analysis). Technical Knowledge: * Metallography of steels and ferrous and non-ferrous alloys. * Optical and digital microscopy; image analysis. * ASTM/ISO standards applicable to metallography and characterization. * Proficiency with analysis software (ImageJ, Olympus Stream, AxioVision or similar). Personal Competencies * Attention to detail and technical rigor. * Analytical ability and critical thinking. * Organized methodology and results-oriented approach. * Clear communication with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. * Ability to work in multidisciplinary teams (NDT, engineering, quality). Preferred Qualifications: * Knowledge of scanning electron microscopy (SEM) * Prior experience in industrial inspection companies. * Experience in chemical analysis or spectrometry. * Previous participation in audits or certified quality management systems.
