We are looking for a **Cybersecurity Technician** based in Madrid to join our systems department, whose primary mission will be to protect the organization's systems, networks, and data from digital threats. You will be responsible for ensuring the security of our systems and data, leading the implementation of cybersecurity solutions, managing incidents, and working closely with specialized service providers. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills and practical experience in detecting and responding to security incidents, as well as in implementing and maintaining cybersecurity measures. **FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES** * **Security Monitoring and Supervision** Monitor systems and networks in real time to detect suspicious activities. Use SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar, AlienVault) to analyze security events. Respond to incidents such as malware, unauthorized access, or DDoS attacks. Carry out containment, forensic analysis, and incident documentation. * **Implementation and Maintenance of Security Policies and Controls** Configure firewalls, antivirus software, IDS/IPS, and apply access controls and data encryption. * **Vulnerability Analysis and Mitigation** Perform scans using tools such as Nessus or OpenVAS to identify vulnerabilities * **Security Assessment through Penetration Testing** Conduct attack simulations to assess the resilience of systems and applications. Document findings and propose security improvements. * **Training, Awareness, and Documentation** Train employees in good security practices (phishing, passwords). Develop awareness campaigns and provide basic cybersecurity support. * **Collaboration and Regulatory Compliance** Work with IT teams to integrate security measures at all levels.
