We seek a proactive, problem-solving individual to join our operations team in Pontevedra. The primary objective will be to ensure that logistics activities run with maximum efficiency and smoothness. Your responsibilities will include continuous supervision of our vehicle fleet, utilizing GPS tracking systems to ensure compliance with established routes and schedules. Your intervention will be critical to maintaining operational continuity and responding promptly to any unforeseen situations. Your role will involve incident management, addressing immediately any disruptions such as vehicle breakdowns or delays. You must minimize the impact of these events on our customers and supply chain. You will also provide direct support to drivers, serving as their point of reference for resolving questions or delivering important information while they are on duty. It will be essential that you can make agile and effective decisions to implement real-time operational adjustments—such as relocating vehicles or modifying routes—when unexpected events arise. Additionally, you will act as the communication link between the operations and maintenance departments, effectively coordinating vehicle repair and maintenance activities. Prior experience in fast-paced, responsive environments will be highly valued. Higher education in Logistics and Transport or Business Administration and Management. A Higher Vocational Training qualification will be considered an asset. Demonstrable experience of at least 3 years in the transport or logistics sector. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel. A person with strong problem-solving ability, autonomy in making operational decisions, and accustomed to dynamic, high-demand work environments. Ability to execute and monitor daily operations, with a focus on efficiency and rapid response to unforeseen events.
