We are currently strengthening our team and seeking to hire a **Senior Software Engineer** with experience in the **banking sector** to join our team in Madrid. **What will your role be?** * Tracking milestones and ensuring timely delivery of deliverables. * Efficiently managing complex and evolving environments. * Communicating effectively with stakeholders, operations, business units, and technology teams. * Designing, developing, and maintaining Java applications using Spring Boot 3\.x and JPA. * Developing and documenting RESTful APIs following OpenAPI specifications. * Web development with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. * Writing unit and integration tests using JUnit, Unit, and WireMock. * Working with relational databases such as Oracle, PostgreSQL, and H2\. * Integrating with messaging systems like JMS and Kafka. * Estimating cost and effort for software components. * Conducting code reviews and ensuring application security, reliability, and scalability. **What profile do we need?** * **\+ 8 years of proven experience** as a Senior Java Developer. * Proficiency in Java, Spring Boot 3\.x, and JPA. * Solid experience designing and developing REST APIs using OpenAPI. * Advanced knowledge of Maven; experience with Gradle and Liquibase. * Web development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript). * Testing with JUnit, Unit, WireMock. * Relational databases (Oracle, PostgreSQL, H2\). * Messaging systems (JMS, Kafka). * Experience working in Scrum teams using Jira, GitHub, and Confluence. * Experience deploying and managing applications on Kubernetes. * Performance optimization, monitoring, and debugging of Java applications. * Hibernate performance optimization (required). * Degree in Computer Science or related field.
