If you are ready to elevate the quality of mission-critical cloud applications in the financial sector, this is your next big step. ### **Your Mission (The Impact of Your Role)** As a **Senior** **QA Engineer**, your objective will be to lead the quality and automation strategy for high-complexity front\-end applications hosted on Pega Cloud within the financial domain (Banking, Insurance, KYC, and CRM). You will be the guardian of user experience and software robustness: * **Lead the testing strategy:** Design and execute test scenarios (manual and automated) for complex end-to-end workflows, ensuring cross-browser and cross-device compatibility. * **Automate with purpose:** Build and maintain robust automation scripts for modern web architectures, enabling early defect detection (*shift\-left testing*). * **Ensure cloud resilience:** Validate continuous deployments within an Agile DevOps and SAFe model, collaborating directly with Pega architects and developers. * **Elevate team standards:** Proactively identify, log, and manage defects in Jira/Zephyr, proposing best practices in *Quality Engineering*. ### **Your Arsenal (What We Look for in You)** #### **Mandatory (Key Technical Requirements):** * **Linguistic Proficiency:** Advanced English (C1 level certified or equivalent demonstrated in conversation). * **Education:** Degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent verifiable experience. * **Test Automation:** Solid experience in web automation using the **Selenium WebDriver with Java and TestNG** framework. * **API Testing:** Solid experience in REST API testing using **Postman** or Rest Assured. * **Web Fundamentals:** In-depth knowledge of the **DOM and POM** (*Page Object Model*) as well as standard web technologies (HTML5, CSS, JavaScript). * **Agile Mindset:** Proven experience working under **Agile and SAFe** methodologies. * **DevOps Ecosystem and Tools:** Proficient use of management tools such as **JIRA**, and version control based on **Git/GitHub**, along with CI/CD pipelines. * **Business Knowledge:** Prior experience in the banking or financial sector (KYC, CRM, or Insurance processes). #### **Desirable (Bonus Points / Nice to Have):** * Skills or knowledge in tools and ecosystems such as: **AWS, Delphix, GenRocket, GitHub Copilot, K2View, NoSQL, and Oracle NoSQL**. * Familiarity with deployment models, environments, and guidelines (*guardrails*) of **Pega Cloud**. * Use of Confluence for technical documentation. * Willingness to travel (only if required very occasionally). * **Certifications:** ISTQB (Certified Tester Foundation Level) or other credentials in test automation. ### **How We’ll Measure Your Impact?** * Monthly achievement of efficiency and test coverage objectives across projects. * Effective alignment and execution of the company’s strategic quality plan. * Reduction of production defect rate through effective automation and *shift\-left testing* practices. ### **Benefits** ### **What We Offer (INITIUM Benefits)** * **Competitive Fixed Salary:** Aligned with your technical level and experience in the elite market. * **100% Remote Modality:** Work from anywhere in Spain with full flexibility. * **Culture of Autonomy:** A dynamic, transparent, and collaborative environment that values your initiative and recognizes your direct impact. * **Growth and Innovation:** Access to challenging projects with cutting-edge technologies, driving your continuous learning.
