Highlights: 1. Immersion in a multi-project and multi-sector environment 2. Mentorship by experienced developers for skill development 3. Strong exposure to DevOps, a valuable asset in the market **About Us** ------------ At Hello Pomelo, we do more than software development: we are **the trusted digital transformation partner for French mid-sized enterprises (ETIs)**. Our mission is to **strengthen the business applications** that power our clients’ operations by delivering tailored, reliable solutions across their entire application portfolio. To achieve this, we operate across **four complementary pillars**: * **Custom web and mobile applications**, designed to meet each client’s specific needs and ensure optimal user experiences; * **DevOps**, ensuring system stability, scalability, and efficiency while accelerating delivery cycles; * **E-commerce**, supporting the growth of retail and online service providers with high-performance, flexible platforms; * **ERP and PIM systems**, structuring and optimizing business processes, centralizing information, and facilitating decision-making. Every day, our teams channel **Hello Pomelo’s energy and technical expertise** to serve our clients — ensuring their technical production capacity never hinders innovation, but instead becomes a tangible driver of growth and added value. We are proud to be a **leading tech delivery partner** for French ETIs, supporting their long-term success. **Job Description** ----------------------- Within our Run division, we manage preventive and corrective maintenance for a portfolio of business applications serving our ETI clients. With the growth of our activity, we are seeking an intern to support us in the operational management of this maintenance. Your daily work will involve great project diversity, varied technical contexts, and multifaceted challenges. The team operates along two main axes: **Corrective Maintenance** * Identify, analyze, and resolve anomalies reported via our ticketing tool. You’ll be on the front line diagnosing bugs, reproducing issues, and proposing robust fixes. **Preventive Maintenance** * Anticipate risks before they become incidents: code audits, dependency updates, performance improvements, and technical debt reduction. You’ll actively contribute to keeping applications healthy over the long term. And because we believe development and operations are one and the same, you’ll also be involved in DevOps activities (approximately 20–25% of your time). **Development & Maintenance Responsibilities:** * Analyze and process incoming incident tickets (qualification, investigation, resolution, documentation) * Reproduce and fix bugs in existing codebases * Participate in code reviews and technical audits * Update dependencies and ensure environment compatibility * Write or improve technical documentation * Propose improvement paths for the projects you work on **DevOps Responsibilities:** * Contribute to maintaining and improving CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, etc.) * Work with containerized environments (Docker, and Kubernetes depending on the project) * Support environment management and deployment tracking * Implement or enhance monitoring and alerting tools (Grafana, Datadog, etc.) **Required Profile** -------------------- ### **Technologies You’ll Work With** Tech stacks vary per client project, but the technologies you’ll most frequently encounter are **JavaScript / Node.js** and **PHP**. You’ll also work across various technology stacks: * React, Next.js, Nest.js * Symfony, Sylius * Shopify, WordPress * Python, Django * Java * Docker, Kubernetes Across assignments, you may also get the chance to explore additional environments — one of the key strengths of this role! ### **Who We’re Looking For** You are pursuing or have completed a Bac+5 / Master’s degree in engineering or computer science and are seeking an internship that offers real professional growth. What matters most to us: * Genuine technical curiosity and the desire to understand how things work — from code to infrastructure * Prior professional experience * Rigor and methodical thinking: in maintenance, there’s no room for approximations * Ability to clearly communicate blockers and progress * Autonomy, coupled with the instinct to ask for help at the right time * English proficiency highly appreciated ### **✅ What We Offer** * Immersion in a multi-project and multi-sector environment — ideal for building true versatility * Mentorship by experienced developers, with dedicated time allocated to your skill development * Real-world DevOps exposure — a valuable asset in today’s job market * 1 remote workday per week * And if it’s a great fit, an opportunity to transition into a VIE (International Volunteer Experience) upon completion of the internship **Recruitment Process** -------------------------- * Interview 1 – HR * Interview 2 – Technical * Technical test to be completed outside of interviews * Interview 3 – Final **Additional Information** -------------------------------- * Contract type: **Internship** (6 months) * Location: **Barcelona** * Education level: **Bac+5 / Master** * Experience: **> 6 months** * **Occasional remote work permitted** * Salary: **between €700 and €1400 / month**
