This role combines hands\-on technical execution with technical leadership and coordination capabilities. You will work primarily on our stack based on Databricks and AWS, actively participating in the design, evolution, and operation of the data platform. **The Role:** * **Participating** in key architecture decisions and the evolution of the data platform. * **Designing** scalable solutions for pipelines, data modeling, and data governance. * **Contributing** to the enablement of new AI and ML use cases in production. * **Technically leading** initiatives and supporting the growth of the data team. * **Designing, implementing, and maintaining** scalable and efficient data pipelines. * **Technically leading** the evolution of the data platform and engineering best practices. * **Optimizing** data storage and processing in cloud environments. * **Ensuring** data quality, traceability, governance, and security. * **Collaborating** with business and technology teams to define product\-oriented solutions. * **Participating** in AI and ML initiatives by enabling datasets, feature sets, and observability and monitoring capabilities. * **Defining** development, deployment, and technical documentation standards. * **Providing technical guidance** to the data team through mentoring and code/architecture reviews. **What we need:** * **Over 5 years** of experience in data engineering. * **Solid experience** building modern data platforms and pipelines. * **Proficiency** in Python and PySpark. * **Experience working with Databricks** in production environments. * **Experience with** medallion architecture and data mesh principles. * **Experience working with** domain ownership models and data products. * **Experience with** cloud infrastructure in AWS. * **Experience working with Terraform** and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices. * **Experience with** data modeling and transformation using dbt. * **Strong knowledge** of data governance, quality, and observability. * **Ability to technically lead** initiatives and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams. * **Product\-oriented mindset** focused on impact and continuous improvemen * English / Spanish **A plus:** * **Experience in environments** with AI and ML use cases in production. * **Knowledge of** MLOps tools and practices. * **Experience with** streaming or near real\-time processing. * **Cloud or data\-related** certifications **What we offer:** * A committed and fast\-growing team.
