ELECTRICAL TECHNICIAN AND PROGRAMMER

Job Summary: We are seeking an electrical technician and programmer to program PLCs and HMIs, integrate systems, diagnose faults, and participate in installations and improvements. Key Responsibilities: 1. PLC and HMI programming (Omron and Siemens) 2. Sensor, drive, and safety system integration and configuration 3. Electrical and software fault diagnosis and resolution UPM collaborates with GAMO in searching for an electrical technician and programmer. • Program PLCs and HMIs (Omron and Siemens). • Integrate and configure sensors, drives, and safety systems. • Diagnose and resolve electrical and software faults at machinery and building levels. • Participate in the installation and commissioning of new projects. • Collaborate with the Process Engineering team to implement improvements and new functionalities. • Perform various maintenance tasks, providing support to the maintenance team. * Minimum 1 year of experience. • Experience in PLC programming and reading electrical schematics. • Ability to diagnose and resolve complex problems under pressure. * Intermediate Vocational Training Certificate (FP de Grado Medio) * Competencies / Knowledge: • Technical training in electricity, electronics, or industrial automation. • Knowledge of industrial safety regulations. • Solid knowledge of electrical schematic interpretation and industrial safety regulations. * Permanent employment contract * Full-time work schedule * Additional information of interest: Salary according to the collective agreement for the siderometallurgical industry in the province of Barcelona.
