For new projects in the **steel industry**, we require a Production Engineer focused on planning and managing production in **Vitoria**, reporting to the Operations Director, to intervene in production management (procedures, markings, planning, quality, logistics) and in the development of improvement projects within production plants. Your main responsibilities will be: **Responsibilities** * Plan production according to the capacity of production resources. * Collaborate in the design, development and improvement of production systems. * Work together with Engineering, Quality and Logistics to ensure continuous improvement, optimization and modification of processes, and changes in production levels. * Determine the workforce, equipment and raw materials required to meet production demands for each shift and production line. * Plan operations and set their priorities to guarantee maximum efficiency and minimal delays. * Collaborate in optimizing processes by reducing production costs and achieving established targets. * Manage stocks, containers, packaging, and inventory organization. Lead production audits. * Provide regular reports to the Operations Director. Collaborate in coordinating the production workflow. * Assign workers and other personnel to specific production tasks. * Supervise work to ensure timely completion without exceeding budgets. * Resolve issues as they arise, aiming for minimal downtime. * Prepare and submit performance and status reports. * Keep documentation up to date. * Specify the production resources to be used and participate in their implementation. * Solve technical problems occurring during start-up to ensure smooth series production. * Participate in new projects by contributing know-how, production capabilities, and feasibility assessments for each production line. **Requirements:** * Technical or Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or related field. * Minimum 2\-3 years of experience in industrial companies with production lines, preferably in production, maintenance, planning or organization roles.
