Home Care Assistant

Description

We are seeking personnel for the position of Home Care Assistant in Gijón (Asturias). Responsibilities include assisting with personal grooming and hygiene, as well as basic activities of daily living, such as household cleaning. It is also required to assist the user in getting up, going to bed, and moving within their home; accompany them to medical appointments; and remind them to take medications prescribed by physicians. Specific training is required, such as a qualification as Nursing Auxiliary Technician, Dependency Care Technician, or the Professional Certificate in Socio-Healthcare Support for Individuals at Home or in Social Institutions. This is a temporary contract with a part-time schedule of 14 hours per week, distributed across weekends and alternate days. Remuneration follows the Collective Agreement for the Home Help Services Sector of the Principality of Asturias.
