Job Summary: Responsible for the operational performance and safety of equipment and facilities in an industrial laundry, including preventive and corrective maintenance, as well as safety and environmental management. Key Responsibilities: 1. Preventive and corrective maintenance of industrial equipment. 2. Safety, environmental management, and safe use of chemicals. 3. Operation of management systems such as PRISMA and machinery startup. This position focuses on ensuring the operational performance and safety of equipment and facilities at an industrial laundry in Noáin. Daily tasks are divided into preventive and corrective maintenance. Preventive maintenance includes daily cleaning of machinery, recording readings in the computerized system, and completing scheduled tasks, all documented in the corresponding work report. Activities are recorded in the PRISMA management system to ensure traceability. Regarding corrective maintenance, responsibilities include repairing malfunctions, preparing purchase proposals for spare parts, and recording actions in PRISMA. Technical support is also provided to more experienced staff when complex issues arise. Additional duties involve daily plant opening and closing, sequential startup of machinery, boilers, pumps, compressors, and machine commissioning. The role carries strong safety and environmental compliance components. This includes preventing and controlling leaks and spills, managing selective waste separation and emissions, and ensuring personal and coworker safety. Chemicals are handled safely to support machinery operations. Ability to perform preventive and corrective maintenance tasks following established procedures. Knowledge of computerized maintenance management systems such as PRISMA. Skill in starting up and verifying industrial systems (boilers, pumps, compressors). Responsibility for waste management and compliance with safety regulations. Willingness to work rotating shifts and perform plant opening/closing duties.
