




Job Summary: The Indirect Procurement Technician will support Category Managers in managing indirect procurement processes—from supplier selection and tendering to contract drafting and monitoring—while tracking supplier performance and collaborating on responsible supply chain management. The Indirect Procurement Technician’s mission is to support Category Managers in indirect procurement processes (Energy Supplies, Consulting, Technology, Real Estate, Professional Services, Travel, Facility Management, Professional Services) for Deloitte Spain. What does the challenge involve? Managing supplier selection, drafting tender documents, overseeing tender processes, preparing contracts, and negotiating on behalf of Deloitte and all its subsidiaries—aligned with the defined category strategy and in compliance with procurement function procedures. Administering and ensuring the management and monitoring of contract implementation and compliance. Monitoring supplier performance and understanding root causes of specific supplier performance issues, as well as defining and leading corrective action plans. Resolving and supervising chronic internal and external service and operational issues, as required by the business/project. Collaborating in responsible supply chain management: engaging suppliers on CSR and sustainability matters, in line with Acciona’s Supplier Qualification standards. How do we envision you? **Academic Qualifications / Credentials:** Preferred qualifications: Engineering (Industrial, Civil), Architecture, Bachelor’s degree, Economics, Business Administration (ADE), or related field. MBA preferred. C.P.M. (Certified Purchasing Manager) certification and other similar professional certifications are also preferred. **Experience:** 2–3 years of experience as a global supplier manager in national and international contexts, plus leadership of a diverse, multicultural team to achieve shared objectives. Relevant experience primarily in category-based spend management, preferably in categories related to those listed above. **Competency Profile:** Strong negotiation skills and ability to maintain composure during complex negotiations. Extensive experience in contract management. Must be proficient in financial analysis, reporting, foreign exchange risk assessment, and bid evaluation. Strong analytical skills required, including mastery of MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Fully competent in contract management; e-commerce / IT systems; TCO / cost-driven design; presentation skills; communication skills; project management; value-based decision analysis; process design and improvement; understanding of emerging markets and their potential within managed spend categories; consensus-building and meeting leadership; demonstrated ability to influence across all business levels. Fully competent in optimizing one’s own capabilities; demonstrating openness and self-confidence; effectively managing interactions with others based on value contribution; exercising personal influence; driving client-centric business strategies; understanding systemic interdependencies; embracing and building accountability; and applying sound judgment and common sense—with a high level of pro-activeness toward internal clients. **Knowledge Requirements:** Must possess in-depth knowledge of the spend categories managed, as well as the ability to benchmark strategy and performance against world-class standards, market category indicators, and cost drivers. Must understand raw material markets relevant to business processes associated with their categories, and have experience managing them where applicable. **Make vs. Buy Analysis:** Ability to guide outsourcing evaluations when outsourcing is preferred over internal delivery/manufacturing and capital investment. **Supplier Development (SRM):** Ability to analyze business strategy and supplier development requirements to deliver necessary materials (direct or indirect) and services at optimal total cost of ownership. **Procurement IT Tools & Systems Knowledge:** Proficiency in e-sourcing procurement platforms with catalog suites (RFx), spend analytics modules, SRM—contract repositories, SharePoint, and ERP MM and FI modules.
