We are seeking a Critical Systems Safety Engineer (Safety) to work in Torrejón de Ardoz, participating in highly complex technology projects where functional safety and regulatory compliance are key success factors for the system. You will work in multidisciplinary environments, engaging in risk analysis activities, safety requirements management, and validation of next-generation critical systems. What will you do? * Participate in safety engineering activities throughout the system lifecycle. * Analyze safety requirements and ensure their proper traceability. * Conduct risk and hazard analyses. * Prepare technical safety documentation and compliance evidence. * Define and manage system safety requirements. * Participate in safety evaluations and impact analyses of incidents. * Prepare safety evaluation and assurance reports. * Collaborate with systems, software, hardware, and validation teams. * Support certification processes and regulatory compliance. What are we looking for in you? **✅ Education:** Technical university degree in Engineering or equivalent discipline. **✅ Minimum Experience:** 4–5 years of experience in Safety Engineering, Functional Safety, or Critical Systems Safety. **✅ Technical Knowledge:** * Safety engineering and system safety. * Risk and hazard analysis. * Safety requirements management. * Safety documentation preparation. * Safety-oriented development standards and regulations: DO\-178C DO\-254 ED\-109 ED\-153 EN 50128 (CENELEC) **✅ Valuable Functional Knowledge:** * Safety Management System (SMS). * Safety Analysis. * Safety Requirements Specification. * Safety Assessment Reports. * Safety Assurance Reports. * Safety Requirements Compliance Matrix. * Defects Safety Assessment. * ATM (Air Traffic Management) systems. * Critical defense, aerospace, or transportation systems. **✅ Key Competencies:** * Analytical ability and attention to detail. * Quality orientation and regulatory compliance focus. * Ability to work in multidisciplinary environments. * Technical and documentary rigor. * Capability to solve complex problems. **✅ Languages:** * Advanced English is mandatory.
